About Us
The Waylight Center is a training and education center offering faith-based counseling, life skills education, and life-health coaching. The Waylight Center is also a resource center that provides community information and referral services to other agencies that can assist individuals, families, and the general public in acquiring the resources that will enable them to get the help they need to feel safe, be healthy, and be happy.
Life Skills Education
Waylight Center’s life skills educational seminars will be given to provide life skills to participants, covering topics relevant to our listeners. Some examples of our workshops include “Creating a Budget,” “First-time Home Buyer Seminar,” “How to Create a Resume and Apply for a Job,” “Basic Automotive Maintenance,” “Home Economics,” etc. The life skills education program will assist the underserved within the community with the tools and resources to succeed.
Non-Denominational Faith-Based Counseling
Waylight Center’s faith-based counseling program offers a holistic approach that integrates the spiritual, physical, and mental aspects of a person’s well-being. Sadly, many people in our society don’t know where to turn when going through periods of mental or emotional turmoil. The Waylight Center counselors are trained to guide those encountering difficulties or family problems, experiencing prolonged grief, struggling with substance use, or questioning their purpose in life.
LIFE AND HEALTH COACHING
The Waylight Center will provide information, education, guidance, coaching, advice, and supportive listening. Our health coaching will educate individuals and families about nutrition, proper sleep, diet, and exercise.
Our Life Coaching meets people where they are, educating them on setting goals with benchmarks and strategies. Our program inspires independent thinking about a goal-oriented lifestyle, including short- and long-term goals, benchmarks, and pathways to success.
