The Waylight Center was founded to help people in difficult circumstances, for example, those aging out of foster care, veterans transitioning from military to civilian life, and the forgotten and underserved members of our society. We believe that we can help prevent drug addiction and homelessness by providing the tools, through training, coaching and counseling, necessary for independent living.
The Waylight Center is a training and education center offering faith-based counseling, life skills education, and life-health coaching. The Waylight Center is also a resource center that provides community information and referral services to other agencies that can assist individuals, families, and the general public in acquiring the resources that will enable them to get the help they need to feel safe, be healthy, and be happy.
Our mission is to provide tools for the underserved in our community, filling the gaps in existing social services and programs. We do this by providing education, training, and guidance to help them become responsible, successful members of our community.
Our vision is to empower individuals by providing the resources to help them discover their strength and purpose, thereby creating lives of hope, security, and dignity.
